Blog.Worship hooked me up with a link to this interview with Barrack Obama. It is an interview done about his spiritual life and beliefs. He talks a bit about sin and hell and other things. The whole interview is there so you don’t have to worry about spin or bias or whatever (which is refreshing).

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

Jesus did not invite the first disciples:
To accept him as their personal savior.
To pray a prayer.
To confess their sins and repent of them.
To come to his church service.
To volunteer in the nursery.
To tithe.
To discover their spiritual gifts.
To attend his “101″ class.
To sign a membership covenant.
To adhere to a set of doctrines.
To be baptized.
To fast.
To give [...]
